Foiling Week Malcesine 2026: The World's Premier Foiling Event Had a Wing Foil Race — Here's What Happened

Foiling Week Malcesine wrapped up its 13th edition at Lake Garda this summer with something that would have seemed unlikely a decade ago: a dedicated wing foil race programme as one of the headline attractions. Running July 2–5 at Fraglia Vela Malcesine, the WingFoil Race joined Moth, ETF26, and other elite classes on the water at what World Sailing officially recognises as a Special Event. If you have never heard of Foiling Week, it is the place where the global foiling community — athletes, brands, coaches, and curious newcomers — all share the same legendary stretch of Italian lake.
