Armstrong Alloy System Hardware Set
Variants
- Default Title$65
Overview
The Armstrong Alloy System Hardware Set is a fastener and tool kit designed to assemble and maintain Armstrong's Alloy foil system. Manufactured by Armstrong Foils, this set provides the screws, barrel nut, washers, and Torx tools needed to connect the mast top plate, mast, mast bottom bracket, and fuselage of the Alloy System. The fasteners are machined from titanium and 316L stainless steel, both chosen for their corrosion resistance in saltwater environments. Nylon washers are included to prevent galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals and to protect component surfaces during assembly.

Who It's For
This hardware set is for any rider running an Armstrong Alloy foil setup who needs a fresh set of fasteners — whether building up a new foil from individual components, replacing corroded or stripped screws, or keeping a spare set in a travel bag. Because it covers the mast-to-plate, mast-to-bracket, and bracket-to-fuselage connections, it suits riders at every skill level who use the Alloy platform. The inclusion of both T30 and T40 Torx wrenches means riders can assemble or break down the foil without sourcing separate tools, which is particularly useful for travel or beach-side setup. Note that mast top hardware and Teflon grease are sold separately, so riders should confirm they have those items as well.
In the Lineup
Armstrong's hardware catalog is organized by foil system. The Alloy System Hardware Set covers the brand's alloy mast and fuselage platform, while the separate A+ System Hardware Set serves the higher-end A+ carbon foil system with its own fastener dimensions and fitment. Riders upgrading from the Alloy system to the A+ system will need the corresponding A+ hardware; the two sets are not interchangeable. Within the Alloy ecosystem, this set pairs with components like the Step 1 (S1) Alloy Foil Package, Armstrong's entry-point complete foil setup. If individual screws need replacing rather than a full set, Armstrong also sells select fasteners individually through its hardware collection.
