Overview
The 2024 Cabrinha Vision Wing is the fourth generation (04) of Cabrinha's flagship all-around inflatable wing, built to cover a wide envelope from light-wind cruising to high-wind freestyle. Offered in ten sizes from 2m to 8m, the Vision sits at the versatile core of Cabrinha's wing lineup, targeting freeride, freestyle, and light-wind disciplines in a single platform. This generation refines the airfoil shape and panel layout from previous versions, with a focus on low-end power improvements in smaller sizes and weight reduction across the range.
The canopy uses Cabrinha's Nano Ripstop material, a 55 g/m² fabric with a 3mm double ripstop pattern that the brand says delivers twice the tear strength of previous canopy cloth. A convex support strut stiffens the frame and extends canopy attachment points along the trailing edge, while high-tenacity Dacron reinforces the leading edge and dihedral structure. Two sprint valves speed up inflation and deflation, and durable TPU bumpers protect high-wear areas.

Who It's For
The Vision is designed for intermediate to advanced wing foilers who want one wing model that works across a broad range of conditions. Cabrinha positions it for riders of any build — the ten-size spread lets lighter riders select a smaller wing for the same wind and heavier riders size up without leaving the line. The smaller 2m through 4m sizes are tuned for reactive sheeting in moderate to strong wind, making them suitable for riders who push into freestyle or want a compact, responsive feel overhead. The larger 5m through 8m sizes lean toward light-wind performance, where the full center-section airfoil and high dihedral help generate lift at lower wind speeds.
Progressive tip twist across the size range keeps the handling consistent whether a rider is on the 3m or the 7m, so transitioning between sizes during a session or across seasons feels familiar. The wing is not a dedicated wave tool or a pure race wing, but a versatile option for riders who spend most sessions freeriding and want the flexibility to dip into freestyle or light-wind cruising without switching models.
In the Lineup
The Vision is Cabrinha's broadest-use wing and the centerpiece of their inflatable wing range. It carries the highest dihedral angle in the lineup, distinguishing it from Cabrinha's more specialized offerings. Within Cabrinha's catalog, the Mantis occupies the performance and wave-oriented slot, while the Vision covers the all-around territory. The 04 designation marks the fourth annual revision, reflecting steady refinements to canopy layout, strut geometry, and handle design since the Vision's original release.
Among comparable wings from other brands, the Vision competes with all-around models like the Duotone Slick and the F-One Strike. These share a similar design philosophy — medium aspect ratio, moderate dihedral, broad size range — but differ in construction details and handling character. Buyers choosing between them will want to weigh the Vision's emphasis on light-wind low-end power and its notably low weight figures against the handling preferences each competing wing offers.
