The 2026 Cabrinha Mantis Wing is the sixth generation of Cabrinha's flagship all-around inflatable wing, designed to cover freeride, wave riding, and big air disciplines in a single platform. Cabrinha categorizes the Mantis as an all-around freeride, wave, and big air wing, and the 2026 update focuses on refined canopy tensioning, improved drift when flagged, and smoother power delivery rather than a ground-up redesign. The most notable change for this generation is the new Handlebar boom, now included as standard equipment on every size, replacing traditional dual handles with a rigid, direct-mount control system.

The Mantis uses a high-rigidity inflatable leading edge paired with a drop-strut design featuring a convex strut profile. Cabrinha employs a Teijin D2 ripstop canopy — a Japanese-made fabric with enhanced UV and abrasion resistance — along with a spanwise load-path panel layout intended to distribute forces more evenly across the canopy. A carbon composite batten along the trailing edge helps reduce flutter, and the wing uses a draft-forward airfoil shape with low dihedral for a full, powerful profile at medium aspect ratio.
