Overview

The 2026 Cabrinha Prestige Front Wing is a high-aspect-ratio hydrofoil front wing built on Cabrinha's new Union connection platform. It replaces the previous Fusion system and is constructed from high-modulus prepreg carbon with integrated SS316 stainless steel threaded inserts. The Prestige features a moderate anhedral curve for fluid turning, a medium-camber airfoil intended to balance early lift with high-speed stability, and optimized wingtip shaping designed to allow confident tip breaching during carves. It is available in three sizes — 760, 905, and 1150 — covering a range from fast, compact performance to light-wind glide.

Cabrinha's Union interface uses a three-screw connection that reduces assembly time compared to the older Fusion system, while also lowering the fuselage's projected area by roughly 15 percent. The front wing and stabilizer are monoblock pieces that bolt together, so riders can leave them joined and attach the assembly to the mast with just two bolts.

Who It's For

The Prestige line targets intermediate to advanced foilers who prioritize glide, pump efficiency, and cross-discipline versatility. Its high aspect ratios produce extended glide with low drag, suiting riders who want to link swells on downwind runs, sustain pump sessions, or maximize distance per stroke in light wind. Cabrinha lists winging, prone foiling, downwind, and parawinging among the intended disciplines.

Within the three-size range, the 760 leans toward higher-speed riding and stronger wind conditions, while the 1150 is oriented toward lighter winds and easier lift for heavier riders or those focused on sustained pumping. The 905 sits in the middle as an all-round option; at roughly 1000 mm of span and an 11:1 aspect ratio, it balances early takeoff with top-end speed. The Foil Outlet size guide suggests the 905 for riders in the 150–200 lb range in typical 15–25 knot conditions.

In the Lineup

The Prestige is Cabrinha's flagship front wing for 2026, sitting at the top of the new Union foil platform. It succeeds the Fusion X-Series and Fusion H-Series wings, which used Cabrinha's older connection standard. Below the Prestige in the current Union lineup, Cabrinha offers the Whippit (a surf-oriented wing) and the Rebound (a freeride option), giving the Prestige a clear role as the high-aspect, efficiency-focused choice.

In the broader market, the Prestige's aspect ratios and span dimensions place it alongside other premium high-aspect front wings such as the Armstrong HA series and the Axis HPS line. Riders cross-shopping in this category are typically comparing glide efficiency, pump feel, and multi-discipline range — areas where the Prestige's thin profile and moderate anhedral are designed to compete.
