The Delta High Aspect Front Wings are a line of prepreg carbon front wings from Delta Hydrofoil, a brand founded by George Hradil (PhD in engineering) with over a decade of experience designing high-speed kite and surf hydrofoils. The High Aspect series spans seven sizes from 590 cm² to 1740 cm², divided into two sub-categories: the Performance HA line (590, 700, 850, 1050) featuring aspect ratios from 9.5 to 11.7, and the Progression HA line (1280, 1450, 1740) with aspect ratios around 6.2 to 6.9. All wings use prepreg carbon fiber construction with a high-density foam core, resulting in thin, stiff, lightweight profiles engineered for low drag and efficient glide.

The Progression HA wings (1280–1740) target newer riders learning to wing foil or surf foil, as well as intermediate riders seeking light-wind performance. Delta specifically positions the HA 1280 for lighter-weight beginners in wing foiling and surfing, plus advanced wingfoilers in light wind. The HA 1740 is aimed at new riders in the 180–230 lb range or intermediate riders in marginal conditions, where the larger surface area provides accessible lift and stability.

The Performance HA wings (590–1050) cater to experienced foilers prioritizing speed, efficiency, and glide. Their higher aspect ratios (9.5–11.7) deliver reduced induced drag at the expense of low-speed lift, making them suited to riders comfortable with faster takeoffs and narrower speed windows. These wings reward technique with extended glide distance and strong pump efficiency. Delta recommends pairing all High Aspect wings with their longer 770 mm fuselage for greater pitch stability.

Within Delta Hydrofoil's front wing catalog, the High Aspect series sits alongside the Reflex line, which uses a curved trailing edge for built-in pitch stability and a broader speed range — a more forgiving design compared to the flat-profile HA wings. Where the Reflex wings emphasize accessibility across a wide performance envelope, the HA wings prioritize raw glide efficiency and pump performance for riders willing to trade some low-end forgiveness for top-end speed and distance.
