Overview
The 2026 Duotone Stash 2.0 Parawing is the second generation of Duotone's single-skin parawing, built for downwind foiling, drift sessions, and light-wind riding. Duotone introduced the original Stash as one of the first purpose-built parawings from a major brand, and the 2.0 revision addresses the most common pain points of early parawing designs — tangling, instability in gusts, and limited depower. The canopy uses an ultra-lightweight 30 g paragliding ripstop fabric, keeping packed size small enough to stash in a harness or hip pack and deploy mid-session when needed.
Structurally, the V2 moves away from the double-surface wingtips of the first generation in favor of refined tip geometry that drains water faster after relaunches. A three-line front bridle system gives the rider more angle-of-attack control, while additional internal ribs along the leading edge hold the canopy profile steady across varying wind angles. The new ergonomic carbon handle features a C-shaped design that lets the rider's fingers slide under the A-lines for a more natural grip and improved depower authority.

Who It's For
The Stash 2.0 targets intermediate to advanced foilers who want a compact assist wing for downwind runs, bump-and-ride sessions, or light-wind days when a full inflatable wing feels like overkill. Riders doing repeated upwind-downwind laps will benefit most from the improved upwind efficiency — the higher-aspect canopy sits forward in the wind window and pulls cleanly without aggressive surging. The wide size range lets heavier or lighter riders dial in their preferred power band, with the mid-range 2.8–4.8 m² sizes covering most conditions.
Duotone notes that parawinging demands more board-balance skill than traditional wing foiling because there is no rigid frame to lean on for stability. Riders new to parawings should consider using a larger-volume board for their first sessions. This is not a beginner's entry point into foiling — it assumes the rider already has solid foil control and can sustain flight without constant wing support.
In the Lineup
The Stash 2.0 sits as Duotone's sole dedicated parawing, positioned alongside their inflatable wing range (the Unit and Slick). Where those wings serve as primary power sources, the Stash fills a different role: a packable, ultra-light assist device for riders who primarily pump or use swell energy and only need occasional power to extend runs or get upwind. The V2 replaces the 2025 first-generation Stash with meaningful changes to bridle geometry, tip design, and the line system rather than a cosmetic refresh.
In the broader parawing market, the Stash 2.0 competes with options from brands exploring the same single-skin concept. Its sheathed-line system and three-line bridle are designed to reduce the tangling issues that have been a common frustration across the category. Pricing runs from $1,059 for the 2.2 m² to $1,209 for the 5.6 m², placing it in line with other premium parawings on the market.
