Duotone Speedster GT Stabilizer
Variants
- Default Title$40
Overview
The Duotone Speedster GT Stabilizer is the rear wing component of Duotone's Speedster GT hydrofoil system, a speed-oriented kitefoil platform introduced in 2019. Sold individually, this stabilizer serves as a direct replacement part for riders maintaining their existing Speedster GT setup. The Speedster GT line was developed under Duotone's kiteboarding division (formerly North Kiteboarding) and uses what the brand calls carbon compound construction across its wing components and fuselage, paired with an aluminium mast manufactured in Germany.

Who It's For
This stabilizer is aimed at intermediate to advanced kitefoilers already riding the Speedster GT platform. The Speedster GT system as a whole was designed for experienced riders focused on high top speed while retaining predictable handling characteristics — Duotone positions it as a foil that maintains lift at lower speeds and offers a gradual, predictable stall at steep angles of attack. The 200 cm² stabilizer contributes to that balance between speed and control, keeping the rear of the foil stable through fast upwind runs and carved turns.
Because this is a spare part rather than a standalone product, buyers will typically be replacing a damaged or worn rear wing on an existing Speedster GT combo rather than building a foil from scratch.
In the Lineup
The Speedster GT sat at the performance end of Duotone's kitefoil range when it launched in 2019, positioned as the fastest foil in the lineup at that time. It shipped as a complete combo with a 900 cm front wing option, fuselage, stabilizer, and a 90 cm aluminium mast, with an optional shorter 65 cm mast available separately. Since the Speedster GT's release, Duotone has shifted its foil line toward the Spirit GT platform and more recently to modular systems built around the D/LAB and GT foil families. The Speedster GT is now discontinued, which makes individual replacement components like this stabilizer increasingly useful for riders keeping their setups in service. At its current clearance price, it represents an inexpensive way to have a backup rear wing on hand.
