Overview

The Eleveight WFS Pro V2 is a premium inflatable wing built around an Aluula Gold frame, sitting at the top of Eleveight's wing foiling lineup. It succeeds the original WFS Pro, carrying forward the same Aluula-based construction philosophy while refining the frame geometry and canopy layout. The V2 introduces a revised V-shape strut with a longer canopy connection point and increased built-in tip twist, paired with a thinner leading edge profile made possible by the latest-generation Aluula fabric. Eleveight positions the WFS Pro V2 as a freeride-focused wing with strong low-end power and freestyle capability across its three available sizes.

The canopy uses X4 ripstop polyester developed through an exclusive partnership with Teijin, while the trailing edge and high-stress zones are reinforced with heavier X6 ripstop material. Each wing ships with a carbon CS Wing Bar sized to the wing — 88 cm for the 3.5 m, 95 cm for the 4.5 m, and 105 cm for the 5.5 m — plus a coiled wrist leash and a leading-edge handle for single-handed control.

Who It's For

The Eleveight WFS Pro V2 targets experienced freeriders and progressing intermediates who want a single wing that covers a wide performance envelope. Its stiff Aluula frame translates pumping effort into usable power efficiently, making it practical in light and marginal wind where water-starting on compact boards and mid-aspect foils is the goal. As wind builds, the wing becomes more direct and reactive, rewarding riders with the skill to manage faster inputs.

Freestyle-oriented riders will find the WFS Pro V2 capable for jumps and aerial maneuvers thanks to the rigid frame and deep canopy profile, which together produce committed vertical lift. The wing is also straightforward to handle during glides and transitions, so it does not demand an expert hand in calmer moments. Riders stepping up from an entry-level or mid-range wing — particularly those already comfortable on foil — are the core audience.

In the Lineup

Within Eleveight's current wing range, the WFS Pro V2 sits above the WFS V5. The two share a similar planform philosophy, but the V5 uses Teijin X4 ripstop for its frame instead of Aluula, making it lighter on the wallet while heavier in the hand. The WFS Pro V2 is the brand's flagship wing option, trading a higher price point for reduced weight and increased frame stiffness. Riders deciding between the two are essentially choosing standard-construction performance versus a premium Aluula build.

Among competing Aluula wings from other brands, the Duotone Slick SLS and the F-One Strike V4 CWC occupy a similar premium freeride niche with comparable materials and price brackets. The WFS Pro V2 distinguishes itself with its included carbon bar and single-strut, deep-profile design geared toward power generation rather than pure drag reduction.
