F-One Alu Fuselage Surf
Variants
- 67 Surf$320
- 74 Surf$320
Overview
The F-One Alu Fuselage Surf is an aluminum hydrofoil fuselage designed for wing foiling and surf foiling within F-One's modular foil system. Available in two lengths — 67 cm and 74 cm — the fuselage connects front wings and stabilizers to any F-One aluminum mast. It is machined from 6061 and 6063 aluminum alloys using a CNC process and is fully anodized, with stainless-steel inserts fitted with insulating gel at fastening points to prevent galvanic corrosion. The result is a solid, one-piece fuselage that resists flex in both torsion and bending, providing a direct and predictable connection between components.
F-One positions the Alu Fuselage Surf as the aluminum counterpart to its carbon fuselage lineup, offering comparable stiffness at a lower price point. Each fuselage ships with the mounting hardware needed for assembly: two M6×25 mm screws for the mast and two M6×15 mm screws for the stabilizer, plus a Torx key.

Who It's For
The Alu Fuselage Surf suits riders already using — or building up — an F-One FCT foil setup for wing foiling or prone surf foiling. The shorter 67 cm length pairs with smaller front wings like the Phantom FCT 1280, tightening the turning radius and suiting riders who prioritize maneuverability in the surf zone. The 74 cm length accommodates larger wings up to the Gravity FCT 2200, providing more stability and glide for light-wind cruising and freeride sessions.
Because the fuselage is aluminum rather than carbon, it appeals to intermediate riders who want solid performance without the premium cost of F-One's carbon fuselage options. It is also a practical spare or travel backup, since the anodized aluminum construction handles knocks and transport wear well.
In the Lineup
Within F-One's foil ecosystem, the Alu Fuselage sits alongside a dedicated carbon fuselage range that includes Short, X-Short, XX-Short, and XXX-Short surf lengths for riders seeking lighter weight and maximum stiffness. The aluminum version trades a small weight penalty for greater durability and a lower price. F-One also produces a 70 cm Alu Fuselage for kite foiling and an 80 cm Alu Fuselage for windfoiling, each tuned for the stance geometry and wing loads of those disciplines.
Riders comparing across brands will find similar aluminum fuselage offerings from manufacturers like Duotone and North, though direct cross-brand compatibility does not exist — F-One's mounting interface is proprietary to its own masts and FCT wing system. For those already invested in the F-One foil platform, the Alu Fuselage Surf is the entry-level fuselage that keeps the door open to swapping wings and stabilizers across the Phantom and Gravity FCT families.
