Overview

The F-One Aluminum Mast Kit for Carbon Plane is a ready-to-ride mast package that bundles three components: an extruded aluminum mast, a top plate, and a Titan mast foot. Sold by F-One as a convenience kit, it provides everything needed to connect a mast to an F-One carbon foilboard using the twin-track mounting system with 90mm lateral track spacing. The kit is available in seven lengths — 45, 55, 65, 75, 80, 85, and 95 cm — letting riders choose a mast height suited to their discipline and experience level.

F-One machines the mast profile from 6063 aluminum using an extrusion process, a method that yields consistent cross-sections with reliable stiffness in both torsion and bending. The Titan mast foot and top plate are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and fully anodized. Stainless steel helicoil inserts at the top and bottom of the mast allow the connecting parts to be fastened and swapped without degrading the threads over time.

Who It's For

This kit targets riders who already own — or plan to buy — F-One carbon foilboards and Titan-compatible wings and fuselages, and who want an aluminum mast option rather than a carbon one. Aluminum masts sit at a lower price point than their carbon counterparts and offer durability that appeals to newer foilers still working through the learning curve. Shorter lengths like the 45 cm and 55 cm options suit beginners or riders in shallow water, while the 85 cm and 95 cm lengths serve more experienced riders looking for additional ground clearance in chop or swell.

Because F-One's aluminum mast is designed for use across kite foiling, wing foiling, surf foiling, SUP foiling, and windfoiling, the kit works for riders who move between disciplines. Buying the bundled kit rather than sourcing the mast, top plate, and Titan foot separately simplifies the ordering process and ensures all three parts are compatible out of the box.

In the Lineup

Within F-One's foil mast range, the aluminum mast sits below the HM Carbon Mast, which uses a monobloc construction with an integrated top plate for maximum rigidity and reduced drag. The carbon option commands a higher price and is aimed at performance-focused riders, while this aluminum kit offers a more accessible entry point with the same Titan-system compatibility. Both mast types accept the same Titan fuselages and wing sets, so riders can upgrade from aluminum to carbon later without replacing the rest of their foil assembly.

F-One also sells this mast in a separate kit configured for the FCT Plane connection, which uses a different board-side interface. Riders should confirm which board connection their foilboard requires before ordering. For buyers cross-shopping other brands, comparable aluminum mast packages exist from North (Sonar) and Duotone (Spirit), though those use proprietary connection systems and are not interchangeable with F-One components.
