Overview

The F-One Carbon Masts V2 (T2) are the latest generation of foil masts from F-One, built around the brand's updated Titan 2 connection system. This lineup spans four distinct carbon layups — the standard Carbon 16mm, the High Modulus (HM) 14mm, the Ultra High Modulus (UHM) 14mm, and the UHM 12mm — each offered in multiple lengths from 75 cm to 105 cm depending on the variant. All four share F-One's Monobloc one-piece construction, where the entire mast is molded and cured in a single shot from carbon pre-preg with an integrated internal structure F-One calls SPINE. The Titan 2 mast foot at the base uses just two M8 screws in a deeper, Tuttle-style insertion that shifts load through the structure rather than the hardware, while the redesigned top plate features lockable T-nuts and a keyhole Quick-Attach system for faster rigging.

Key Specs

  • Connection (top): Lockable T-nut top plate with Quick-Attach keyhole system (160 × 90 mm hole spacing)
  • Connection (bottom): Titan 2 mast foot (two M8 × 25 mm screws)
  • Board compatibility: Twin-Tracks mounting system
  • Wing compatibility: All front wings using the Titan 2 connection
  • Construction: Monobloc one-piece carbon pre-preg with SPINE internal structure
  • Carbon 16 mm sizes: 80 cm (1.54 kg), 85 cm (1.68 kg)
  • HM 14 mm sizes: 75 cm (1.50 kg), 80 cm (1.71 kg), 85 cm (1.81 kg), 95 cm (1.92 kg), 105 cm (2.01 kg)
  • UHM 14 mm sizes: 75 cm (1.50 kg), 80 cm (1.71 kg), 85 cm (1.81 kg), 95 cm (1.92 kg), 105 cm (2.01 kg)
  • UHM 12 mm sizes: 75 cm (1.50 kg), 80 cm (1.70 kg), 85 cm (1.80 kg), 95 cm (1.90 kg)
  • Included: Mast, EVA cover, 4 × M6 × 25 mm screws, 4 T-nut washers

Who It's For

The four-tier lineup lets riders match stiffness and drag characteristics to their discipline and weight. The Carbon 16 mm is the entry point in the range, offering a naturally stiff profile with broad versatility across wing, kite, and surf foiling; F-One specifically notes the 80 cm length is refined for surf foiling, with improved pumping and maneuverability. The HM 14 mm steps up with a High Modulus carbon layup that F-One states is 1.5 times stiffer than standard carbon fiber, combined with a thinner 14 mm chord that cuts drag and improves acceleration and pumping efficiency — suited to intermediate-to-advanced riders across all disciplines.

The UHM 14 mm takes the same 14 mm profile but uses an Ultra High Modulus layup that F-One rates as 28 percent stiffer than the HM version, targeting heavier or more aggressive riders who need maximum energy transfer and torsional control. The UHM 12 mm narrows the chord further still and is optimized for downwind riding and disciplines where glide is the priority, delivering what F-One describes as 25 percent more bending stiffness than the HM 14 mm. Advanced riders chasing top-end speed or long-distance downwind runs will find the most benefit from the UHM options.

In the Lineup

The V2 designation and Titan 2 mast foot mark F-One's first major foil-connection redesign in six years. Importantly, the Titan 2 system is not backward-compatible with 2025-and-older F-One foils and masts, so this is a platform commitment rather than a drop-in upgrade. Within F-One's current catalog, the Carbon 16 mm sits as the most accessible full-carbon mast, while the HM and UHM tiers represent progressively higher-performance (and higher-priced) options — the UHM 12 mm 105 cm tops the range at over twice the cost of the base Carbon 16 mm. Riders coming from competing brands such as Armstrong or Axis will find the Twin-Tracks top plate broadly compatible with standard track-mount boards, though the Titan 2 fuselage connection locks you into F-One's wing and stabilizer ecosystem.
