Overview
The F-One Hybrid Wing Handle is an aftermarket handle option for F-One wing foiling wings, sitting between the brand's fully soft and fully hard handle offerings. Each handle pairs a rigid base — which bolts to the wing's webbing — with a soft, padded grip section. The hard base keeps the handle from collapsing or deforming under load, while the soft upper portion retains the cushioned feel associated with standard textile handles. F-One sells the Hybrid Handle individually (one handle per purchase) in three sizes: a 28 cm front, a 30 cm front, and a 37 cm rear.

Who It's For
The Hybrid Handle targets riders who want a stiffer, more direct connection to the wing without giving up the padded comfort of a soft handle. Riders who find standard soft handles too flexible during high-load maneuvers — pumping, jibing, or riding powered up — may prefer the structural support the hard base provides. At the same time, those who have tried fully rigid handles and found them harsh on the hands get a middle-ground option here.
Because the handle attaches through F-One's tool-free webbing system, swapping a set between multiple wings takes only a few minutes. That makes the Hybrid Handle practical for riders who own several F-One wings across different size ranges and want a consistent grip feel on all of them.
In the Lineup
F-One currently offers three handle types across its wing range: Soft Handles (the stock option on most wings), Hard Handles (fully rigid), and the Hybrid Handles reviewed here. The Hybrid sits in the middle of that trio in both stiffness and price, giving riders a way to tune their setup without committing to the extremes of either alternative.
All three handle types share the same attachment interface, so upgrading or switching is straightforward across F-One's current wing lineup. Competing brands such as Duotone and Naish offer similar bolt-on rigid or semi-rigid handle upgrades for their own wings, but cross-brand compatibility does not apply — the F-One Hybrid Handle is designed exclusively for F-One wing models from the V4 generation onward.
