Overview
The F-One Strike V3 Wing is the third generation of F-One's performance-oriented inflatable wing, introduced as part of their 2023 product cycle. Positioned as the brand's high-performance all-rounder, the Strike V3 covers freeride, freestyle, wave riding, and freefly disciplines. F-One redesigned the outline for this generation, adopting a slightly more compact shape with reduced span compared to the V2, which contributes to easier pumping and more responsive handling.
Construction relies on two proprietary materials. The inflatable frame uses HITEX, a high-tenacity polyester available in two weights — 178 g on the four central leading-edge segments flanking the strut, and 158 g on the outer segments near the wingtips, saving weight where loads are lower. The canopy is built from TECHNOFORCE D2 fabric, with a heavier 66 g version reinforcing the trailing edge where tension is highest and a lighter 52 g version covering the rest of the sail. A Load Diffuser — a panel of stiffer Dacron and Mylar at the trailing edge beside the strut — helps maintain canopy shape under load. Small radial cuts at the wingtips and the back of the strut distribute stress more evenly across the canopy panels.

Who It's For
The F-One Strike V3 is aimed at intermediate to advanced wing foilers who ride powered and want a wing that rewards an active piloting style. It is not a passive, pull-and-go design; riders benefit from solid pumping technique and some prior wing experience to fully tap into its power delivery. The wing responds quickly to input and accelerates well once on foil, making it well suited for riders who prioritize speed, upwind efficiency, and the ability to link maneuvers.
The eight-size range — from 2.0 m² up to 5.5 m² — spans a broad wind spectrum. The smallest sizes handle strong-wind freestyle and high-wind blasting (35+ knots for the 2.0), while the 5.0 and 5.5 cover lighter days down to roughly 12 knots. Riders focused on wave riding or pure downwind sessions may find F-One's Swing line a better match, but the Strike V3 is the stronger choice for those who split sessions between freeriding, freestyle tricks, and general exploration.
In the Lineup
Within F-One's wing range, the Strike sits as the performance flagship alongside the Swing, which is the brand's wave and downwind specialist. The Swing trades some top-end speed and upwind drive for a more compact, lighter-handling feel that lets riders focus on surfing bumps. The Strike V3, by contrast, is tuned for riders who want to stay powered, cover ground quickly, and push into freestyle. For riders needing larger sizes beyond 5.5 m², F-One offers the Strike CWC V3, a dedicated light-wind variant extending the line up to 9.0 m².
The Strike V3 has since been succeeded by the Strike V4 in F-One's 2024 lineup, so the V3 is now available at reduced pricing as remaining stock sells through. Comparable wings from other brands include the Duotone Slick and the Ocean Rodeo Glide, both occupying a similar performance-freeride niche. Buyers choosing between sizes should note that F-One's recommended wind ranges overlap slightly between adjacent sizes, so most riders carry two or three sizes to cover a full season of conditions.
