Overview

The F-One Jam Front Wings are high-aspect-ratio foil wings built for dock starting, pump foiling, and light-wind riding across multiple disciplines. Manufactured by F-One using their Monobloc construction method with pre-preg High Modulus (HM) carbon fiber, each wing is molded as a single piece for structural rigidity while keeping weight low. The HM carbon layup offers roughly 1.5 times the stiffness of standard carbon, which translates to a stable, connected feel at speed and during sustained pumping sequences. The Jam line is available in three surface areas — 1400, 1600, and 1900 cm² — all sharing an aspect ratio above 10, placing them firmly in the high-performance glide category. Connection to the fuselage uses F-One's TITAN 2 system with two M8 screws, compatible with F-One's HM Carbon 14 mm and Carbon 16 mm mast platforms.

Who It's For

The three sizes in the Jam range cover a wide progression window. The 1400 cm² wing suits experienced dock-start and pump-foil riders who want efficient glide without excess surface area, and it also works for light-wind wing foiling and micro-swell surf foiling. The 1600 cm² is oriented toward riders learning to dock start or those wing foiling and SUP foiling in marginal wind conditions, offering a balance between lift and manageable wingspan. The 1900 cm² provides the most surface area and is aimed at heavier riders or anyone prioritizing early takeoffs during flat-water pump sessions.

Across all three sizes, the defining trait is low-speed efficiency. The high aspect ratio reduces induced drag, so the wings carry momentum well between pump strokes and maintain flight at speeds where lower-aspect designs would stall. Riders focused on freeride carving or tight wave turns should look elsewhere — F-One rates the Jam's maneuverability well below its glide and low-end lift scores. This is a wing built to cover distance, not to pivot.

In the Lineup

Within F-One's foil wing catalog, the Jam sits as the dedicated pump and dock-start platform. It complements rather than competes with F-One's other front wings like the Eagle series, which targets freeride and wave disciplines with lower aspect ratios and more turning agility. The Jam's aspect ratio above 10 places it alongside purpose-built prone and downwind wings from other brands, such as the Armstrong HA series and the Axis PNG, both of which occupy a similar high-aspect, high-glide niche.

F-One has also released a Jam V2, indicating the original Jam line has been updated. Riders shopping should confirm which generation is being offered. The front wings sold individually — as listed here — allow riders already on the F-One TITAN 2 platform to add a Jam wing to an existing mast and fuselage setup without purchasing a complete foil package.
