Overview
The KT Super K2 PRO Carbon Foilboard is the premium-construction mid-length board in KT Foiling's second-generation Super K lineup. It replaces the original Ginxu Super K with a redesigned hull shape and updated construction, arriving in a 12-size range from 30 L to 120 L. KT positions the Super K2 as a multi-discipline platform covering wing foiling, prone foiling, downwinding, foil-assist riding, and SUP foiling. The PRO Carbon layup sits above KT's standard Carbon version, using a high-density EPS core wrapped in biaxial and unidirectional carbon with full sandwich construction to achieve roughly 20% less weight than the standard Carbon build.
The hull itself drops the stepped bottom that defined the original Ginxu Super K in favor of a chined tri-plane underside. KT describes the resulting feel as lower-friction and more direct during water starts and touchdowns. The nose carries a fuller shape that hides volume while the standing area stays thin, and a recessed deck lowers the rider's center of gravity. A pulled-in mid-length outline is intended to balance glide with turning agility. An ultralight marble paint finish rounds out the build, and integrated fiberglass windows tuned to 2.4 GHz maintain wireless connectivity for Foil Drive and other foil-assist systems.

Who It's For
The Super K2 PRO Carbon suits intermediate to advanced foilers who want one board across multiple disciplines rather than a dedicated shape for each. Riders who regularly switch between winging, prone sessions, and foil-assist cruising will get the most out of its broad design brief. The 12-size spread also means lighter riders can go as low as 30 L for a compact prone or downwind shape, while heavier or less experienced riders can choose 90 L and above for easier water starts and more paddling stability.
The PRO Carbon layup adds meaningful weight savings — relevant for riders who prioritize swing weight during pumping and maneuvers, or who regularly carry their board any distance to the water. At USD 2,311–2,694 depending on size, it sits in the upper tier of the foilboard market, so it makes the most sense for riders committed enough to value the construction upgrade over the standard Carbon model.
In the Lineup
Within KT's current board range, the Super K2 PRO Carbon is the top-spec mid-length option. The Super K2 Carbon shares the same shape at a lower price point and slightly higher weight, making it the natural alternative for riders who want the hull design without the premium layup cost. KT also offers the Ginxu 2 Pro Carbon as a more compact, step-hull shape for riders focused purely on wing foiling, and the Drifter family (Mini, Spark, Surf) for surf-oriented foiling.
In the broader market, the Super K2 PRO Carbon competes with other carbon mid-length foilboards designed for multi-discipline use, such as the Armstrong Mid Length and the Unifoil Hyper. Its 14-inch track and integrated foil-assist compatibility give it a specific edge for riders using powered-assist setups like Foil Drive, a feature not all competitors include from the factory.
