Overview

The Lift Foils Surf V2 Wing is a carbon fiber front wing series built for prone foiling, wing foiling, and eFoil use. Introduced as Lift's second-generation surf wing line, the Surf V2 range uses a mid-aspect design philosophy intended to balance glide efficiency with turning capability across multiple foiling disciplines. Lift Foils, based in Puerto Rico, is known primarily for its eFoil line but has expanded into a full hydrofoil ecosystem with interchangeable components.

The Surf V2 front wings are sold individually and mount to Lift's proprietary mast and fuselage system. Back wings are sold separately, giving riders the flexibility to tune their setup. The line spans six sizes — 60, 100, 150, 200, 250, and 300 — covering everything from high-speed big-wave surf foiling to stable, low-speed cruising and eFoil riding.

Who It's For

The Surf V2 line covers a wide skill range depending on size. The smaller wings — 60 and 100 — are aimed at experienced foilers. The 60 is purpose-built for big-wave surf foiling and is the fastest wing in Lift's catalog, while the 100 handles waves with faces up to roughly ten feet and excels in smooth water at speed. Both require strong pumping ability and wave-reading skill.

Mid-range sizes suit intermediate to advanced riders. The 150 is an all-around performance wing that can carve hard turns while still maintaining useful glide, making it a popular option for prone surf foiling and sportier eFoil sessions. The 200 provides a smoother, more forgiving ride and works well for riders still building confidence on foil, while remaining engaging enough for experienced foilers across disciplines.

The 250 and 300 are the most accessible options. The 250 adds lift and stability at lower speeds, suiting heavier riders, shorter boards, or lighter wind conditions. The 300 — sometimes called the "Sea Pig" — is oriented toward newer foilers who need maximum stability, making it a strong choice for learning and confidence-building.

In the Lineup

Within Lift's own front wing catalog, the Surf V2 sits alongside the higher-aspect HA (High Aspect) series. Where the HA wings prioritize pumping efficiency and long-distance glide, the Surf V2 line trades some of that efficiency for tighter turning radius and broader versatility. This makes the Surf V2 the more practical choice for riders who split time between surf foiling, winging, and eFoil use rather than specializing in downwind or open-ocean pump runs.

Compared to competing mid-aspect front wings — such as the Armstrong CF series or the Axis BSC line — the Surf V2 occupies a similar niche: a do-most-things carbon wing that prioritizes responsiveness without sacrificing too much low-end lift. The Lift ecosystem is proprietary, so riders already on Lift masts and fuselages will find the Surf V2 a natural progression wing, while those starting fresh should factor in the cost of a complete Lift foil setup.
