The Manera S-FOAM Helmet is a soft-shell watersports helmet built around a non-Newtonian foam material that Manera calls S-FOAM (Smart Foam). Unlike traditional rigid helmets, the S-FOAM stays soft and pliable during normal use but stiffens on impact to absorb energy. The entire shell is molded as a single piece rather than cut from flat panels and stitched together, which eliminates gaps in coverage and helps the helmet conform closely to the head.
