Naish S27 Aluminium Mast-75cm
Variants
- 75cm$110
Overview
The Naish S27 Aluminium Mast in 75cm is a hydrofoil mast from Naish's S27 foil system generation, built from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium. Naish redesigned the mast's internal cross-section for the S27 line, redistributing wall thickness to reinforce key buckling areas while keeping the same exterior profile and low-drag shape introduced with the prior S26 generation. The result is a mast that Naish states is roughly 25 percent stronger than its predecessor with only a small increase in weight.
The 75cm length sits in the middle of the S27 aluminium mast range and uses a standard board-mount connection. Hardware integration includes a bonded and screwed board mount secured by two M8 bolts and a sex bolt, while the mast-to-fuselage joint relies on two M8 screws paired with a molded fuselage connector that serves as a corrosion barrier between dissimilar materials. A Torx T30 driver is included for assembly.

Who It's For
The 75cm mast length is a practical choice for beginner to intermediate foilers. Shorter masts reduce the ride height and make it easier to recover from balance corrections, which suits riders who are still building comfort on foil or who frequently ride in shallow water. The aluminium construction keeps the price well below Naish's carbon mast options, making it accessible for riders entering the sport or building a quiver on a budget.
Because the S27 aluminium mast shares the same exterior dimensions as the carbon version, riders can start with the alloy mast and later upgrade to carbon without changing their fuselage or board connection hardware. This makes the 75cm alloy mast a sensible entry point for anyone committed to the Naish foil ecosystem but not yet ready for the investment in a full carbon setup.
In the Lineup
Within the Naish S27 foil system, the aluminium mast line sits below the carbon mast as the more affordable option. Both share the same outer profile and connection standards, so switching between them requires no additional adapters. The S27 generation updated the mast-to-fuselage connection from the S26 system, though the fuselage retains backward compatibility with all Naish front wings and with rear wings dating back to 2018.
The 75cm length is one of five sizes in the aluminium range. Riders who want more ground clearance and a higher ride for open-water conditions typically move up to the 85cm or 95cm options, while the shorter 55cm and 65cm lengths cater to prone foiling or very shallow venues. Competing aluminium masts at a similar price point include options from brands like Slingshot and Liquid Force, though cross-brand compatibility varies and riders already invested in Naish hardware will find the most seamless integration staying within the S27 system.
