2025 North Nova Wing

The 2025 North Nova Wing is North's all-round freeride wing, built around a balance of low-end power, high-end stability, and intuitive handling. Available in eight sizes from 2.2m to 7.0m and three colorways (Pacific Blue, Rubine Red, and Marine Green), it covers a wide wind range suitable for most riding conditions. The Nova sits as the core wing in North's lineup, distinct from the more performance-oriented Nova Pro, and targets riders who value accessibility and a forgiving power delivery over aggressive, competition-grade responsiveness.

For 2025, North updated the Nova with extended N-X6 trailing-edge panels that reach further up the wingtips, reducing flutter and providing a cleaner release. The airframe uses Carbon UDi — unidirectional carbon tapes integrated into the leading edge — to improve stiffness and gust response while keeping overall weight down. A Radiate Geometric Panel Layout distributes canopy tension evenly across the wing, contributing to consistent shape and efficient power generation throughout the wind window.

The Nova sits as the entry and mid-level wing in North's current two-wing lineup, paired alongside the Nova Pro. Where the Pro uses advanced N-Weave 45 canopy material and a Shiftlock track-based handle system for more aggressive riding styles, the Nova keeps things straightforward with its N-HTRS ripstop canopy and fixed GripLock Carbon Boom. The price gap between the two reflects this — the Nova is the more accessible option both in cost and in ride character.
