Overview
The Ozone Flow Wing is a compact, lower-aspect-ratio wing designed for freeride progression, wave riding, and freestyle maneuvers. Developed by Ozone — a brand with deep roots in kite and paraglider design — the Flow entered the wing foiling market as a versatile all-rounder built around accessible handling and strong wave performance. It features an extended front carbon handle with a pistol-grip design that allows one-handed flying and supports the wing's weight horizontally, a practical alternative to a full boom that still packs down small. The airframe uses Teijin Dacron tubing and a 55 GSM triple-ripstop canopy cloth, while Ozone's Direct Connect construction ties the strut directly to the leading edge with internal and external reinforcements to maintain clean canopy profiles under load.
The Flow is available in six sizes spanning 2.4 m to 5.7 m, with each size featuring dual-chamber inflation via separate leading-edge and strut valves. Ozone positions the Flow as sharing DNA with its higher-aspect Flux wing but with a shorter span and lower aspect ratio, trading some upwind efficiency for increased low-end power and more forgiving handling.

Who It's For
The Flow suits intermediate riders who have moved past the initial learning phase and want a single wing that covers most conditions. Its compact proportions and progressive power delivery make it manageable during transitions and tacks, while its passive flagging characteristics reward riders who are starting to link turns on a wave face. The pistol-grip front handle supports one-handed control, which is especially useful when pumping onto foil or riding down the line.
Wind coverage across the six sizes spans roughly 8 to 35 knots for an 80 kg rider on the water, making it possible to build a practical two- or three-wing quiver from the lineup. The smaller sizes (2.4 m and 3.0 m) handle overpowered, gusty days, while the 5.0 m and 5.7 m open up lighter sessions. Riders focused on wave riding and freestyle will appreciate the agile handling and the ability to downsize compared to higher-aspect wings without losing low-end grunt.
In the Lineup
Within Ozone's wing range, the Flow occupies the middle ground between the entry-level Fly and the performance-oriented Flux. The Flux shares structural DNA with the Flow but stretches to a higher aspect ratio for more upwind drive and top-end speed, making it the choice for riders who prioritize efficiency and racing. The Flow trades some of that reach for a more compact planform that's easier to handle in the surf zone and during freestyle tricks. Above the Flux sits the Flux Ultra-X for dedicated high-performance use.
The Flow effectively replaced the Ozone WASP as the brand's wave-and-freeride wing, carrying forward Ozone's emphasis on accessible power with improved construction and handle ergonomics. Buyers cross-shopping in this segment often compare it to wings like the Duotone Slick and the F-One Strike — both mid-aspect, freeride-to-wave designs targeting a similar rider profile. A V2 version of the Flow has since been released with updated canopy materials and refined sail tension, so the V1 is now available at reduced pricing through retailers clearing inventory.
