Overview
The Ozone Pocket Rocket V2 Parawing is the second generation of Ozone's single-skin ram-air wing designed for wing foiling across a broad range of conditions. Built around a bridled canopy rather than a rigid inflatable frame, the Pocket Rocket V2 packs down to a fraction of the size of traditional wings, making it a practical choice for travel, hiking to remote launches, or stashing in a small bag during downwind runs. Ozone refined the V2 with a diagonal rib support structure for improved canopy tension, a redesigned yoke bridle system managing A, B, C, and D lines, and a shorter line setup compared to the original Pocket Rocket. The canopy uses a lightweight 2x2 ripstop weave that balances durability with packability.
Control comes through Ozone's Bow Bar, a barrier-free design with bent-out ends and ergonomic finger bumps. Sizes 3m through 5.7m ship with a 36cm bar, while the 1.9m and 2.4m use a shorter 33cm bar. The front lines feature a specialized coating for smoother handling, and color-coded lines (blue center, black rears) simplify rigging. Each size includes a vented riding sleeve backpack.

Who It's For
The Pocket Rocket V2 suits riders across skill levels who prioritize portability without sacrificing upwind performance. It's particularly well-matched to pilots who want sustained powered flight across varying wind angles — those mixing upwind tacks with downwind glides rather than purely chasing bumps. The wide size range (1.9m to 5.7m) covers conditions from light wind cruising around 12 knots up to strong-wind sessions above 35 knots, meaning a two-wing quiver can span most rideable days.
Intermediate to advanced foilers who travel frequently or paddle out to remote breaks will appreciate the compact pack size. The improved canopy tension and broader power delivery sweet spot also make it forgiving enough for riders transitioning from inflatable wings to their first parawing, though some familiarity with depowered flight is helpful.
In the Lineup
Within Ozone's wing foiling range, the Pocket Rocket V2 sits alongside the PowerPack as the brand's two parawing options. Where the PowerPack prioritizes minimal pack size and downwind-focused performance, the Pocket Rocket V2 emphasizes upwind capability, faster flight speed, and sustained power when riding powered up. The V2 replaces the original Pocket Rocket with shorter lines, the new yoke bridle, and the barrier-free Bow Bar — changes that improve collapsibility and handling comfort. The addition of a 5.7m size in the V2 lineup extends the light-wind floor below what the V1 offered. For riders choosing between the two Ozone parawings, the Pocket Rocket V2 is the more versatile all-rounder, while the PowerPack remains the specialist tool for pure downwind missions where stashability is the top priority.
