The Slingshot PFI 633/710 Lower Package V1 is a freeride-focused hydrofoil lower assembly from the Phantasm foil system. Developed under Slingshot's modular "Designed by Slingshot. Built by You" platform, this package pairs the PFI 633 front wing with the 710 fuselage and a PS 400 rear stabilizer, giving riders a complete below-mast setup that can be matched with a separately purchased Phantasm-compatible mast. The PFI name stands for Phantasm Freeride Infinity, placing it in the freeride segment of Slingshot's broader Phantasm lineup.

The package ships with neoprene wing covers and a custom travel case, so the components are protected out of the box. The 710 fuselage is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, prioritizing stiffness and strength while keeping costs lower than a full-carbon alternative.

The PFI 633/710 Lower Package is aimed squarely at beginner and intermediate foilers who want a stable, forgiving ride while they build confidence on the water. Its relatively low aspect ratio of 3.2 and generous 1270 cm² surface area generate lift at lower speeds, making it easier to get up on foil without needing strong wind or high board speed. The front wing's inverted gull wing profile contributes to a self-centering feel in flight, which helps newer riders maintain balance and recover from small input errors.

At higher speeds the PFI 633 continues to track predictably rather than becoming twitchy, which is useful when riders begin practicing jibes and tacks. The Safe-T-Winglets on the front wing tips are rounded safety features that also add lateral stability.
