Overview
The Slingshot Flow Craft V2 is a performance-oriented wing foil board built around a narrower, mid-length outline intended for riders who prioritize speed, responsiveness, and carving ability. Released as part of Slingshot's 2026 foil board lineup, the V2 is the second generation of the Flow Craft platform and arrives with a reworked hull shape, lighter build, and updated deck ergonomics. It spans six volume options from 45 to 95 liters, covering a wide range of rider weights and wind preferences.
Slingshot uses what they call Polymer Matrix Sandwich Construction over an EPS core with carbon lamination and a sanded finish. The result is a lighter board than the original Flow Craft while maintaining structural rigidity. The underside features a Tri-Surface Displacement-Planing Hull — a concave section through the nose that transitions to a flat zone running toward the tail — designed to channel water flow for straight, efficient takeoffs and a clean release from the surface. Hard rails with wide chines help shed water quickly once the board lifts onto foil.

Who It's For
The Flow Craft V2 is aimed at intermediate to advanced wing foilers who ride in moderate to strong wind and want a board that accelerates quickly, releases cleanly, and holds its composure through powered carves and wave riding. Slingshot positions it explicitly for powered shredding, wave-oriented foiling, and pairing with smaller, higher-aspect foils — not for beginners or dedicated light-wind cruising. Riders who have moved past the learning phase and want tighter feedback underfoot will find the recessed standing area and narrow outline well suited to that style.
The 14.5-inch Max Tracks provide a broad adjustment range for foil placement, and the tracks double as structural stringers beneath the rear foot for added stiffness. The smaller 45 L and 55 L sizes cater to lighter riders or experienced foilers comfortable on minimal volume, while the 75 L and 85 L options work as versatile one-board choices for average-weight riders who want some paddle stability without sacrificing agility on foil.
In the Lineup
Within Slingshot's 2026 foil board range, the Flow Craft V2 sits as the performance-focused option alongside the new Glide Craft V1, which fills a more accessible, progression-friendly role with added volume and stability for newer riders. The V2 replaces the original Flow Craft and refines it with lighter construction and the updated Tri-Surface hull shape. Riders deciding between the two Slingshot boards should consider the Glide Craft V1 if they value easy water starts and low-wind capability, and the Flow Craft V2 if they want a tighter, faster-feeling board for conditions where power is not an issue. In the broader market, the Flow Craft V2 competes with boards like the Fanatic Sky Surf and Armstrong FG Wing SUP in the mid-price, performance wing foil category.
