Bags & Covers
44 products from major wing foiling retailers.
Bags and covers protect wing foiling and watersports equipment during transport, storage, and daily use. This category includes board bags, wing socks, foil covers, and multi-gear travel bags from brands like Dakine, ION, Mystic, and Manera. Whether you're driving to a local launch or checking gear on a flight, the right bag prevents dings, UV damage, and hardware scratches that shorten the life of boards, wings, and foil components.
The main differences across bags come down to format, padding thickness, and what piece of gear they're built for. Day covers and board socks use minimal padding (3–7 mm foam) and lightweight shell fabric for quick trips to the water. Padded day bags add reinforced nose patches and foil-compatible zipper layouts for boards stored with the mast plate attached. Travel bags and coffin-style rolling bags step up to thicker foam (8–10 mm), heavy-denier shell material (600D–1680D polyester or nylon), internal dividers, and wheel systems for airport handling. Wing-specific socks and quiver bags are sized to fit deflated wings without compressing the leading edge. When comparing options, check the interior length against your board or wing size, whether the closure is a full zip or velcro flap, and whether the design accommodates a mounted foil plate or requires full disassembly.
Bags pair with every other category in a wing foiling setup — boards, foils, and wings all benefit from dedicated protection. If you travel with a full quiver, a coffin bag that holds multiple boards plus foil hardware can replace several individual covers.
